As part of our research projects and contract services to industry we develop and optimise products and systems in the field of cladding, windows, building components, interior furnishings and fittings and furniture. We cover all aspects of product development ranging from physical specifications, material characteristics and processing right through to innovative, cost-effective manufacturing techniques.
Our internationally accredited and recognised laboratory tests building materials and products. We test product characteristics with regard to usability and safety. As an accredited agency we collaborate closely with national and international standards committees and workgroups.
Given our expertise and independence we are often called upon to provide expert evidence and consultancy.
